Japanese Martial Arts and Ninjutsu on Sydney’s Northern Beaches
Kanzen Bujinkan teaches traditional Japanese martial arts and ninjutsu in an exciting, friendly, and modern environment. Classes include unarmed striking and grappling, body conditioning and movement, self defence, and many different traditional weapons.
Students of any age, experience, or fitness level are welcome to train at the dojo. The art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu focuses on personal development and protection, as well as creating a welcoming community of martial artists.

Budo Taijutsu is a martial arts system consisting of nine schools of traditional Japanese martial arts and ninjutsu.
These schools are:
1) Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu
2) Koto Ryu Koppojutsu
3) Kukishin Ryu
4) Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu
5) Shinden Fudo Ryu Daken Taijutsu
6) Togakure Ryu
7) Gikan Ryu
8) Kumogakure Ryu
9) Gyokushin Ryu
Training is varied and interesting, with classes including striking, joint locks and throws, rolling and breakfalling, traditional combat techniques, modern self defence skills, and use of traditional weapons including swords, staff, sticks, rope, knife, spear, and more. -
Classes are open for anyone above the age of 16, and you can join at any time of year. Classes are on every Tuesday at 7-9 pm at the Mona Vale Scout Hall.
If you plan on attending a class, make sure to call or email ahead of time in case there are any last minute changes to venue or time. And if you’d like to sit in to observe a class before starting, you’re more than welcome.

The dojo is for everybody, regardless of physical fitness/ability, experience, gender identity, or sexual orientation. As long as you’re willing to learn and have fun.

For your first class, make sure to bring water and wear comfortable clothing. If you have a uniform from other styles, feel free to wear that. Training indoors is done in socks or bare feet. Any weapons needed will be provided.
